Northstar: Maritime Excellence and Diversity

Northstar stands out as an integrated manufacturer of RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boats) and Special Purpose Boats are also organized under Ribtech Company of Marintek Group. Northstar, which started in 1997 under the Marintek brand, redefined itself with a completely new product range in 2002. Operating in an 8000 square meter production site in Izmir, Turkey, Northstar is the only serial RIB manufacturer.

Northstar’s current product line covers a comprehensive range for recreational and military and professional uses in a variety of lengths ranging from 2.7 meters to 12 metres. Additionally, Alupro, its Aluminum RIB and Workboat division, manufactures aluminum boats and RIBs up to 18 metres.

NORTHSTAR’s design and development team consists of naval architects and industrial designers. This team constantly works on new military, professional and entertainment projects and delivers adaptable designs.

Quality, durability, safety and comfort are the key elements of any Northstar RIB. Using hand lay-up methods as well as composite techniques, Northstar generally uses CSM coated (Hypalon) special fabrics for the pipes and can also produce with PU coated fabrics upon request.
